Panasonic is part of the Matsushita Electric Industrial Co Ltd. of Japan along with Technics and is one of the world's largest manufacturers of electronic goods. In the Fortune 500 they are ranked third in electronics and electrical equipment.

Founded in 1918 in Osaka, Japan, Panasonic has grown from a company of just 3 people to over 260,000 worldwide. Panasonic entered the UK market in 1972 and has grown to become one of the leading suppliers of electronic goods for home and office use.

With an impressive turnover of inexcess of £700m with more than 500 staff Panasonic has become synonymous with home electronics such as dvd players, hi-fi's, tv's, laptops. The also have and impressive range of household goods such as vacuum cleaners, microwaves and even breadmakers.
